Built for lasting protection and everyday peace of mind

To help keep your metal gates, railings, and fencing looking their best for years to come, we recommend our premium two stage finishing process. This finish is designed to provide long term protection against the British weather while keeping maintenance to a minimum.

The first stage is hot dip galvanising to British Standard EN ISO 1461. During this process, the steel is immersed in molten zinc at 449°C, creating a durable protective coating that helps guard against rust and corrosion. Depending on environmental conditions and coastal exposure, this process can provide up to 70 years of rust protection.

Once galvanised, your metalwork is then powder coated to create a long lasting decorative finish. This coating is electrostatically applied and baked onto the steel, producing a smooth and resilient outer layer that gives the appearance of freshly painted metalwork. Alongside enhancing the visual finish, it also adds an extra layer of protection to help keep your gates, railings, and fencing looking just as good as the day they were installed for years to come.

We also offer a primed only finish ready for painting if you would prefer to apply your own finishing touches. This option still provides the same handcrafted metalwork and made-to-measure service, although regular cleaning, protective coatings, and occasional paint touch ups will be needed to help maintain the finish over time.
