An extensive range of designs, created especially for our customers
We have a total of 10 ranges available to choose from here at SL Wrought Iron, and a lot of detailed customer research went into the creation of each design. We consulted with a cross-section of our customers during the process, using their feedback to finalise each design. The result is a diverse range of metal gates and railings that accurately reflect a variety of tastes – so whatever the style of your property, you can be sure that we’ll have something to suit you.
Hot dip galvanisation as standard
We offer a hot-dip galvanisation service as standard for every metal gate and railing we supply (which not all of our competitors do!). This process has been developed to maximise the durability and longevity of the wrought iron: essentially what it involves is submerging the product in a pool of molten zinc at temperatures of around 450°C, which gives it maximum protection against corrosion.
It’s then coated with paint in the form of a very fine powder, for a superior finish that can withstand even the harshest elements of weather – which is one of the main reasons why our gates and railings will last a lifetime.
Made in the UK, with Lancashire pride
We don’t outsource the manufacture of our gates, or import them wholesale. Everything we supply is made right here in the UK, so we can maintain full control over the production process, and maintain the consistently high standards of quality that we know our customers have come to expect. We’re also deeply proud of our Lancashire heritage, which is reflected in the names we’ve chosen for each design in our range.
